How Digital Downloads Work on AutoVectors

AutoVectors is a 100% digital platform. All products are delivered as downloadable vector files — there is no physical shipping. This page explains what happens after you place an order, how you receive your templates, and how updates work over time.

1. What You Receive After Purchase

When you purchase a template from AutoVectors, you receive a digital download package that typically includes:

• • Pre-cut vector templates in CDR, AI, PDF and SVG — in every package
• • DXF as well in most packages — every car interior kit, and most window tint and car exterior kits
• • Files prepared in true 1:1 scale for professional plotter cutting
• • Clean, editable vector curves ready for use in CorelDRAW, Illustrator or other compatible software

A smaller group of kits ships the four core formats without DXF — all motorcycle kits are in that group. The exact list for the template you are buying is shown on its product page under “Included Files” (headed “Available formats” on Available on Request products). Some kits also include extra panels depending on the coverage level.

2. Instant Download After Checkout

As soon as your payment is confirmed, your digital download becomes available immediately:

• • A download button appears on the order confirmation / “Thank you” page.
• • You will also receive an email with a download link to your files.

There is no waiting for manual processing — files are delivered automatically so you can start working right away.

3. File Delivery Format

AutoVectors templates are delivered as individual digital files, each provided in several professional vector formats. This ensures simple access, fast downloading and compatibility with both editing and cutting software.

• • CDR – CorelDRAW format
• • AI – Adobe Illustrator format
• • PDF – universal vector file
• • SVG – scalable vector graphics
• • DXF – CAD, CNC and sign software — in most packages, but not all

CDR, AI, PDF and SVG are in every package. DXF is in most of them: every car interior kit has it, and so do most window tint kits and most of the car exterior range, while motorcycle kits currently ship the four core formats. EPS and PLT are not in any download package — you export those yourself, free, in Studio.

If your cutting software needs a format that is not in your download, you can also produce it yourself: open the SVG or the PDF in AutoVectors Studio and export PLT, DXF, SVG or EPS at true 1:1 scale, free and without installing anything.

Tip: For best reliability, download files on a desktop or laptop computer, especially when working with larger templates.

4. Re-Downloading Your Files

If you lose the files or switch computers, you can download your purchase again using the link in your email or via your order history (where available). The download link is tied to your order and will deliver the latest version of the template if it has been updated since your original purchase.

We recommend keeping a backup copy of your downloaded files on an external drive or secure cloud storage for long-term use.

5. Free Updates for Existing Customers

AutoVectors continuously improves and updates templates when better data or new scanning methods become available. In many cases this includes:

• • Refining curves and panel fitment
• • Adding or adjusting sensor and camera cutouts
• • Extending coverage or improving existing pieces

When a template you already purchased is updated, your download link is automatically connected to the new version. That means:

• • You do not need to buy the same kit again
• • Re-downloading the file gives you the latest available revision

In simple terms: once you have purchased a template, you stay connected to its future improvements at no additional cost.

6. If You Have Trouble Downloading

If something goes wrong during download, try the following steps:

• • Make sure you have a stable internet connection
• • Try downloading on a desktop or laptop instead of a phone
• • Check that your browser or security software is not blocking the file

If you still cannot access your files, contact us with your order number and we will help you restore access to your templates.

7. Usage & Professional Workflow

AutoVectors templates are created for professional PPF and vinyl installation workflows. Once downloaded, you can:

• • Import the files into your preferred cutting software (CorelDRAW, Illustrator, signmaking or PPF platforms)
• • Or open them in AutoVectors Studio — free in your browser — if you do not have a design suite
• • Prepare layouts according to your plotter width and material type
• • Cut film directly from the digital templates for your customers’ vehicles
